Welcome!

Hello and welcome  🙂

We started Nova Scotia Treasures because of the pride we have in our province and the admiration for it’s variation and beauty. From the ocean that nearly surrounds it to the mountains of the Cape Breton Highlands to the mud flats of the Bay of Fundy, the iconic lighthouse of Peggy’s Cove, the South Shore, down to Port Mouton (Sheep overboard!), Yarmouth and back up to Digby to the boarder of  New Brunswick and all points in between.

We aim to explore as much of the province’s history, sights, foods and as many little towns and communities as we possibly can.

The thing is – tourist come to our province for a reason and sometimes it feels like we don’t take advantage of the fact that we have a great variety of things to see, do and eat – right here.

The great thing is as we find more and more things we love we know we can go back any time we want.

So there you have it. This little blog is our findings. We hope you enjoy the read and check out some of the places we rave about and who knows.. maybe you’ll find your own little Nova Scotia treasure.
